Hey All!
On the topic of comfort foods, the lack of seafood in the dining hall (tuna fish salad does not count) has made me realize how much I really enjoy a good piece of steamed fish or fried soft shell crab. I know that seafood is a bit controversial in the mainstream food world and many have an aversion to it. However, there is something about the fresh, almost ocean-like taste that I absolutely adore. It brings me back to when I was younger. When my mum steamed sea bass with ginger and soy sauce and it would be the only thing I ate that whole day. In my opinion, seafood is truly under appreciated. And if you have been afraid to try it, there's no better way to start then to cook some up yourself. Here are two videos of seafood recipes. The first is for beginner seafood eaters. (Nothing better or more comforting than something deep fried.) And the second is for advanced seafood eaters. I hope you all enjoy them!

Bon Appetit!
I can definitely sympathise with that. Since I've been living with my stepfather, I haven't had much good seafood.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, when I go to Minnesota and catch fresh fish out of the lake I can catch up on my seafood (or lake-food for the technical) intake.
