Hey All!
It's been ages since I last posted something here. I've been so busy with schoolwork and such. Who knew trying to be more active meant less time chilling in my room?
Anyhow, I came across this article a couple of weeks ago and saved it for whenever I decided to post again. Like any good college student or teenager in general, expiration dates have little significance on whether or not I will eat/drink the food/drink. As long as it smells and looks alright, I'll take a bite or sip. However, my parents are a bit more cautious. If the food is even one day past its due date, they'll throw it out. But here's to this article that says, it's okay to eat it if it's expired. Expiration dates protect quality rather than our health and when we throw out food that's past its expiration date we're wasting food that is perfectly alright to eat. And we all know that it's a sin to waste edible food. So give the article a read and look forward to a few more posts from me this week!
Best,
D.H.
P.S. Thank you Andre for doing such a good job with your posts!

Cool h'whip
Sadly this will be my last post on the blog, Brit's taking it back, something about too many readers falling asleep in the middle of reading my posts. Anyway, for those who did stay awake and liked what they saw, pester and annoy Brit to bring me back. No restaurant today, just a delicious recipe for a summer dessert.

Meine Lieblings-Burger
Hello
If in San Fransisco and find yourself hankering for a burger, look no further than BurgerMeister. Simply put they cook up the best tasting burgers and shakes I have ever had. And apparently someone agrees with me because they've won a bunch of awards.

The Pink Door Bar
For those of you who find yourselves craving Italian in Seattle, I'd recommend a favorite of mine, The Pink Door Bar. Now I know The Pink Door Bar doesn't conjure up images of fine Italian dining, but the 1920's cabaret style decor provide a nice setting. Although pricey, most dishes are 14 and up, it is worth every penny. Everything they serve tastes excellent (my family and I went two times and ordered different items so I know) I personally would order the home made pink lemonade and Pappardelle Al Bolognese.
Here's their website!!!!!

And the address so you don't have to find it like my family did, which is to say by accident.

Blognappery
For those of you avid and faithful readers used to very interesting and well written entries, I am sorry to disappoint. For Food, Love, and Life has been blognapped. Brittani's high school friend (and hope still to be after these posts) and fellow lover of food, Andre, has taken over for a week or so.
