Hey All!
It's long been known that there is a deep connection between food and the erotic. The ancient Greek had feasts and orgies (as did the Romans). Christianity declared gluttony and lust sins. Even Adam and Eve proved to be a story about food and its erotic appeal. (Yes, apples are very erotic. Just Google what apples symbolize.) Everything from the way a specific food looks, to the way that a person eats it is suggestive. Think about it. They both satisfy these carnal desires within all of us. And are even the source for inappropriate humour (eating a banana suggestively... if you know what I mean).
So in my humble opinion, no one really describes this link between food and sex as well as Anthony Bourdain, in both his book Kitchen Confidential and his show No Reservations. Here's a clip from his "Food Porn" episode. I hope you enjoy it! (Because there is nothing more erotic than a steaming hot bowl of phó...)
Oh, and for those of you who are curious. My favorite food porn is pasta (boscaiola, especially).
